How much does a smart home cost in Bali?
A starter package — smart lighting in the main rooms, one smart door lock and one security camera on a local hub — starts from IDR 12,000,000 installed. A fully automated 3-bedroom villa with lighting, climate, security, curtains and audio starts from IDR 45,000,000. Full rates on our pricing page.
Does a smart home work when the internet goes down?
Yes. We build every system around a local Zigbee hub, so lights, locks, sensors and automations keep running through Bali's internet drops — and through blackouts with a small UPS on the hub. Only remote access from outside the villa needs internet. Details on the full installation page.
Which smart home brands do you install?
Aqara and Tuya for switches, sensors and locks, Sonos for audio, Ubiquiti UniFi for networks and cameras — all chosen for humidity tolerance and local control. Read our honest brand comparison for Bali.
Can I install a smart home in a rented villa?
Yes. We specialise in no-drilling installs: wireless Zigbee sensors, retrofit switch modules, stick-on curtain motors and locks that fit without modifying the door. Everything can be removed when you move out. More in our rental villa guide.
Do cameras record to the cloud or locally?
Your choice. We usually recommend local recording to an NVR or SD card — footage survives internet outages and there are no subscriptions. Cloud backup can be added for critical cameras. See security cameras & alarms.
How long does installation take?
A starter package is usually done in 1 day. A full 3-bedroom villa takes 3–5 days including the network, devices, scenes and a handover session where we teach you the app.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes — 12 months on all installation and configuration work. If a device we installed fails or an automation stops working within a year, we fix it free. Terms on the about page.
